Graham Burgan and Susan Fawaz presided over the Little Penguin Dash, which comprised of a 150 metre or 300 metre swim, and 500 metre or one kilometre run, depending on age, with over 100 competitors in five age categories competing.

Sixth generation islanders Lachlan and Archie Dallinger with their grandfather Pot Dallinger, who holds the distinction of being the only person to compete in all 38 Channel Challenge events, and was a regular at the Cowes Classic over the years.
