Nathan Van Dyke, Jake Thornell and Sophie Bolam competed for the first time, while friend Daisy Corbett (right) is an old hand. "It's my fourth or fifth time," she said. "The swim was really nice."
Across the generations (from left): Billy Yusko, Rob Fleisner, Justin Tilley and Finlay Cameron. Justin finished 7th overall and was first in the Masters Male category. Rob finished 25th and won the Super Veteran Male category. Now in his 70s, Billy thinks he's competed in at least 36 of the 38 events, while young Finlay is just getting started, taking out third place in the local Junior Male section.
