Over 100 people gathered on Friday to protest the indefinite closure of the Newhaven Jetty. The much-loved pier was closed on May 1 by Parks Victoria, with no community consultation and minimal communication with stakeholders.

Parks Victoria cited "structural failures" as the reason for closure, with
