Local residents are invited to join Deb Leonard, independent candidate for the federal seat of Monash, and Tony Wolfe, a prominent local energy expert, for a discussion on energy transition, job creation, and the future of renewable energy in the region.
The event will be held from 6pm - 8pm, on Wednesday January 22, at Dirty Three Wines in Inverloch.
Tony Wolfe brings decades of experience as a senior plant operator at the Loy Yang coal power station in the Latrobe Valley, where he worked for over 40 years.
Tony has been at the forefront of advocating for fair job transition plans for coal workers and is a vocal supporter of renewable energy projects. He currently serves on the community advisory board for the Star of the South offshore wind farm, ensuring local voices are represented in major energy initiatives.
This community event is free and open to all.
Residents are encouraged to attend and be part of the conversation about how Monash can lead in renewable energy while protecting and supporting local workers.
