Remembrance Day offers the opportunity to pay respect and gratitude to those who ensured the way of life we all enjoy.
Each year at the Cenotaph on the San Remo foreshore, a brief Remembrance Day commemoration is organised by a small community committee under the auspices of the National Vietnam Veterans Museum Sub-branch.
It will begin at 10.45am on November 11, conducted by Vietnam veteran John Methven OAM. All are welcome and there will be an opportunity to lay a wreath or flowers.
San Remo's two hotels generously support the event by providing post-commemoration morning tea. This Remembrance Day, it is the San Remo Hotel's turn.
