As part of Seniors Week celebrations presented by Bass Coast Shire Council, pianist David Scheel is appearing at the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre on October 26.
This hilarious send-up of classical music has received acclaim worldwide and promises an unforgettable experience.
“Council has contributed to the show fee to ensure tickets are accessible to the community at the cost of $10,” said the spokesperson.
“Join us on Thursday, October 26 at 11am at the Wonthaggi Union Community Arts Centre (WUCAC) for this remarkable performance and post-show morning tea.
“Whether you’re enticed by the allure of a history walk, captivated by the world of literature during a book talk, curious to try your hand at bocce, ballet, or croquet, or eager to master the art of crafting Italian Cristoli – October is the month to support your clubs across Bass Coast and give new things a go.”
To discover the full range of events and activities, pick up a program booklet from Wonthaggi Library, Inverloch Library, and Phillip Island Community & Learning Centre, as well as at any of the council’s Customer Service locations. Or view it online.
As an added bonus, Victorian Seniors Card holders can enjoy free public transport from Sunday, October 1 to Sunday, October 8 to participate in the statewide events.
