Sunday December 8, 11am to 5pm, the third Annual Phillip Island Toy Run will be held.
Local proprietors Samantha and Jason Hampstead, of Dead4Eva tattoo shop in Cowes, are the masterminds behind the toy run, which is for families who would otherwise be facing a bleak Christmas.
The Christmas toy run will begin at Caldermeade Farm and travel along the South Gippsland and Bass Highway via Grantville and San Remo, with the final stop at Cowes Esplanade about noon.
Anyone interested should register and get a free ticket at Eventbrite to avoid filling out details with marshals before the ride on the day.
On December 8 there will also be a market on the Cowes Esplanade, with the Phillip Island CFA holding a barbecue and free facepainting for children, Santa and showbags.
Rotary volunteers will collect toys, with prizes on the day for best decorated bike and more.
