About the event
With four ride choices through Bass Coast and South Gippsland, there is something for all ages and rider abilities. Riders can challenge themselves with hills, the coast or both over either 40km, 53km, 85km, or 121km.
Rider numbers are capped at 1000, so enter early to secure your place. Early birds save on entry costs and also have a chance to win a free ride entry and a BCCC riders kit.
The event is in its 12th year and has grown to be one of the best recreational charity cycling events on the calendar thanks to the support of sponsors, supporters, participants and local community members who volunteer to help organise the event and ensure each rider on the day has a safe and enjoyable experience.
The Bass Coast Cycle Challenge is a charity event, proceeds fund the education of young drivers, passengers and cyclists, making our roads a safer place for all. Since 2010, the BCCC has enabled over 2300 students from Bass Coast secondary schools to take part the game-changing RYDA and L2P programs, which deliver practical road safety information targeting attitude and awareness of young drivers and their passengers.
