The winner of Best in Show, sponsored by the Bendigo Community Bank, will be awarded $1000 while other categories' prize money ranges from $400 to $500. Each category, excluding Best in Show, also has cash prizes for highly commended works.
Students in grades five and six from Cowes, Newhaven, and San Remo Primary schools as well as Our Lady Star of the Sea and Newhaven College are participating in the Young Artist Award, with three cash prizes of $100, $60, and $40.
The awards and presentations will be held at 6pm on opening night, with works being judged by Master Pastelist, Lyn Mellady.
