Phillip Island troubadour, Mark Howard is kicking off a national tour with a hometown show on June 9 at Dimples Lounge Bar in Cowes.
Mark will then head off on a massive 34 date tour of Australia to promote his latest single, “Lighthouse”.
After many years of performing and recording with various bands Mark finally released his debut album “Passing Strangers” last year.
Since the album’s release he has toured Australia's east coast and New Zealand, notched up supports with The Black Sorrows, Ross Wilson, The Whitlams, Frente, 1927 and earned a spot on the bill at Churchill Island’s Ocean sounds Festival.
The singer/songwriter also works his creative craft by writing and performing with the Melbourne based Nuworks Theatre Company. They have toured overseas several times and garnered many awards at both the Edinburgh and Adelaide Fringe Festivals.
His latest single, Lighthouse was recorded and produced by fellow islander, Dave Prideaux and mixed and mastered by Andy Stewart at the Mill.
The single is now available on all major streaming platforms, and undoubtedly resonate with fans old and new alike.
The single launch and nationwide tour kicks off at Dimples Lounge Bar, Friday June 9.
