There are two fantastic nights of live music scheduled as part of the very first Phillip Island Motorcycle Festival.

On Friday night, head back to the 80s and 90s with INSXIVE, a stunning INXS tribute band.

They not only reproduce the sound of INXS, but also the live shows that rocketed the band to international fame.

Come along and re-experience the incredible music created by INXS throughout their career.

Performing since 1997, the band, formed by David Graham have played everywhere from pubs to glittering corporate functions, outdoor festivals and theatres.

The set features all the smash hits, including New Sensation, what You Need, Original Sin, Need You Tonight, Don’t Change and Never Tear Us Apart.

A must see for INXS fans and lovers of classic Australian rock and roll.

Local support from the Andrew Wallace Band.

On Saturday night, Chocolate Starfish will provide a rocking night of entertainment.

Chocolate Starfish powered on to the Australian music scene in the early 1990s and quickly established themselves as an influential force with their cover of Carly Simon’s ‘You’re So Vain’. They wholeheartedly earned their reputation as one of Australia’s best live bands of the 90s, boasting two Top 10 albums and six Top 50 singles.

Twenty-five years later, the band is living up to this reputation and then some, still blowing audiences away with their powerhouse performances and magnetic stage presence.

Chocolate Starfish continues to deliver the pure, unadulterated entertainment for which they are renowned, their captivating shows imbued with intensity and revelry – and, as always, with a few surprises.

Supported by local band The Times (on at 6.30pm).

As well as treating yourself to some great music, the concerts are a chance to support the Phillip Island Football Netball Club (PIFNC), who are running the bar on both nights.

“Allan, the festival organiser approached the club to see if we wanted to do the bar,” explained PIFNC president Chris Ross.

“With the last few years of Covid, we haven’t been able to do our usual fundraisers, so it was a great opportunity to raise some money, without having to ask our local sponsors and community all the time.”

Chris is hoping many locals come down, enjoy the evening and say hello to the friendly volunteers who will be working at the bar.

All bar proceeds will to go the Phillip Island Football Netball Club.

Tickets are $60 at the gate, which open at 5pm. Support bands on at 6.30pm with main act onstage at 8.30pm.
