Phillip Island Health Hub Auxiliary Race Day
Come and enjoy the Phillip Island Health Hub Race Day on Saturday March 1.
Phillip Island Twilight Branch of the CWA has just celebrated its first birthday.
The branch was formed during the pandemic and uses social media to engage with the local community and CWA family.
“Our branch is vibrant and welcoming, we would love you to join us and experience the Modern CWA,” said Sally Matthews.
Why join CWA? Experiences, opportunities and friendship, where you are encouraged to share your gifts and talents, are just some of the benefits, said Sally.
“CWA is the largest women’s organisation in Australia, where else can you learn to bake sponges, study an international country, share gardening tips, improve the lives of vulnerable women and children, lobby for a safe home for all?
“Our Branch fundraises to assist the organisation improve conditions of women and children, and through your generous support of our market days and catering we have donated funds to assist women in refuges and our local charity Free 3D Hands,” Sally said.
“Recently we packed Pamper Packs for Orange Door with support from Boomerang Bags, PICAL and local pharmacies.”
“Our AGM is Wednesday November 9 at 7pm. If you would like to come along, please ring Sally 0409 521 825 or Rosie 0409 792 245.
“We welcome all women and girls can join as junior members.”
