A new exhibition has opened in San Remo, showcasing the art of Gabriele Jenkins, Iveta Nagyova, Karen Preston and Stacey Shine over the next three months.
The Phillip Island Contemporary Exhibition Space (PICES) exhibition is at the San Remo Library, and was opened by deputy mayor Rochelle Halstead on July 29, attended by about 40 people.
San Remo and Phillip Island Libraries branch manager Jessica Berry said the collaboration was “several years in the making, to present the work of local artists in a community space”.
She said the exhibition was part of a continuing project, curated by PICES members every three months and all art on display at the library will be available for purchase from the contributing artists.
