March kicks off with a performance by the Gippsland Symphony Orchestra, celebrating its 10 year anniversary. Classical music lovers quickly snapped up the tickets, with the show selling out within days.
Next up, running on March 14 and 15 is the Bass Coast Surf Film Festival. There are 10 films - a mixture of shorts and features - which take you on a surf trip around the globe.
You can buy a weekend pass covering all three sessions, or a ticket for individual sessions. The film festival includes an exhibition of surfing memorabilia by the National Surfing Reserve, plus a performance by local band The Foxy Junes on Saturday from 6pm.
If you are quick, you might be able to book one of the few remaining tickets to Bryan Dawe's Road to Tangier show, on Sunday, March 23.
Much loved by the local community, the former Phillip Island resident tells of his travels from Hungary, Poland, Romania and Turkey to Syria, Jordan and finally to his adopted home of Tangier, Morocco.

"Songs of the Southern Skies Vol 2" sees Katie and Karin reinterpret some of their favourite Australian artists, including Ruby Hunter, Missy Higgins, Kate Ceberano and Sarah Blasko.
