Every year, Clean Up Australia Day inspires schools and community groups to clean up, fix up and conserve the environment.

This year, students at Newhaven College tackled the school grounds, collecting bags of rubbish.

Clean Up Australia provides kits to schools, including rubbish collection bags and gloves.

It estimates over 4400 schools take part in the annual clean-up day.
