Newhaven College believes every young person is unique and can become the best version of themselves in a happy, challenging and safe environment.
The College provides so much more than an academic program, creating a vibrant and nurturing learning community where each student’s gifts and talents can flourish. It has state of the art facilities which enables personalised learning experiences both in and out of the classroom.
The school is located on 82 acres of pristine coastal environment where young people have the space and opportunity to grow. It offers a range of outdoor activities, including extensive camps and outdoor education programmes, its own surf academy and equestrian team, Year 9 Environmental Centre and sustainability initiatives. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in music, theatre, sports, including our own tennis academy, leadership programs, as well as creative and cultural pursuits.
Principal, Mr Tony Corr says: “In my experience, what truly sets our Newhaven community apart are our students. From Prep to Year 12 they bring an energy, positivity and vitality to all they do.
“At Newhaven we are in an enviable position of being able to create an intimate environment where every student is known, seen and heard so that a strong sense of belonging and care is a feature of their time with us.
“Ultimately we aim to provide a learning environment where every student is inspired to make a positive difference in the world in which they live.”
