Phillip Island Dance Studio finished off last year with two sold out performances; an Alice in Wonderland story ballet and choreography works of energetic jazz with moving contemporary and lyrical pieces.

Also onstage were the always popular preschool classes who were a delight to audiences.

"It was a great way to celebrate our 21st performance at the newly opened Berninneit in Cowes," said Rowena Campbell, school founder.

"The hard work of the students showed through their technical improvement and beautiful dance quality, musicality and joyous smiles of performing on stage."

Phillip Island Dance Studio offers a range of classes from a specially designed preschool program from 18 months through to adult dance and over 55s dance movement class.

Offering jazz, contemporary and lyrical dance as well as specialising in classical ballet with a pre pointe and pointe program for school aged students.

The school offers fun and creative classes with qualified dance tuition that focuses on age appropriate and safe dance practices for both recreational and students wanting to pursue dance vocationally. 

Classes resumed on February 5 in Cowes.
