Breakfast Club wraps up another successful year
1 min read

The Cowes Primary School community has celebrated another fantastic year of the Wednesday morning Breakfast Club, delivered by the dedicated team at the Phillip Island RSL.

This program continues to provide not just a hearty breakfast but also a warm and welcoming start to the day for students, fostering a sense of connection and care.

Last Wednesday's Breakfast Club was particularly special, as staff and students were delighted to see Bruce Shelton back behind the counter, serving up breakfast with his signature smile.

Bruce, a founding member of the Breakfast Club program, coordinated it for over a decade. His passion and commitment to the initiative have left a lasting legacy, and he speaks fondly of the program's positive impact on both RSL members and students.

Bruce's return was a wonderful reminder of the strong partnership between the school and the RSL, which has enriched the lives of so many over the years.

"We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bruce, the RSL team, and all the volunteers who have contributed to making the Breakfast Club a valued tradition," said Cowes Primary Principal Rodney McKenzie.

"Here's to another year of community spirit and delicious breakfasts!"
