Sports club hope on oval

Turf restoration works started at the Cowes Recreation Reserve last week.

Contractor says oval put under too much strain too soon after the works were completed.

The Cowes Recreation Reserve is again out-of-action, with clubs unable to use the oval.

It was whites, red balls and sun for our A1 this week for the first two-day game since 2020.

The club’s A Grade, B Grade and C2 Blue all won Premiership titles.
