Being up-to-date with your Covid vaccination is your best protection against the current wave of Covid sweeping Victoria.

Last week, the number of reported cases in the state increased by 9.5 per cent, although numbers in Bass Coast remained stable.

With holidays approaching visitor numbers to the area are on the rise, bringing increased risk of infection.

The Mobile Vaccination Bus will be back in San Remo on December 8, for anyone needing a Covid vaccination or booster.

The bus will be parked in Marine Parade from 10am – 2pm.

It will also be at the Wonthaggi Town Hall on December 14 and 20, from 10am to 2pm.

The bus provides free Covid vaccinations and boosters for anyone aged five and over, as well as free flu shots for people aged 65+. In San Remo, the Monkeypox (MPX) Jynneos vaccine is also available.

No bookings are needed, but please bring your Medicare card or another form of ID.

Funding for the mobile vaccination bus finishes at the end of December, so these are the last scheduled visits to the area.
