Phillip Island community theatre group, Lighten Up Theatre, is holding an Easter high tea on April 13 at the Newhaven Community Hall to fundraise for their productions.

Led by Cowes based thespian Trish Oostendarp, the group was formed in 2023 and has since flourished in numbers. 

A community-orientated, not-for-profit group, Trish says all money raised will go towards future productions and events.

The high tea will include sandwiches, canapes, cakes, slices, scones and the choice of tea or coffee. 

Lighten Up aims to target a different audience and style to the Island's long-established Offshore Theatre group, which Trish says "produces brilliant theatre".

Easter high tea, April 13, 1pm-3.30pm.
