Labyrinth walks continue
1 min read

Labyrinth walks in San Remo will be held on the third Saturday in February, March and April.

At the last walk, New Year's Eve Candlelight Labyrinth Walk at San Remo, organiser Lorraine Rodda acknowledged the custodians of the land, sea and air, Bunurong Boon Wurrung people and respected their elders, past, present, and emerging.

Each Labyrinth walk also recognises the Yoorrook Justice Commission's truth-telling and progress on the criminal justice and child protection systems.

Joanne Cashman expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Lorraine and Geoff Rodda for the opportunity to facilitate her first Labyrinth walk as a Veriditas-trained facilitator.

"I loved incorporating the heart coherence into the experience and giving each person a mini sound bath with my Tibetan singing bowl, which resonates with the heart chakra energy centre before they passed over the Labyrinth's threshold," said Joanne.

Many people assisted in setting out the tea light candles for the walk, and due to the unseasonal rain, last-minute quick mowing created the beautifully sculptured Labyrinth.

Lorraine said the stump seats in the centre of the labyrinth have been removed twice in three months - with one recently returned.

"We hope others will turn up too," she said.

The trio would be delighted to welcome all to the upcoming walks in February, March and April.
