
Friends of the Koalas (FOK) are holding their annual Clean Up Day event on Sunday March 2, meeting at Harbison Road at 10am. The group regularly cleans up the area and say it picks up "a surprising amount of rubbish each time".
Friends of the Koalas (FOK) are holding their annual Clean Up Day event on Sunday March 2.
The group will meet for its regular rubbish collection on Harbison Road, part of Coghlan Road, and the pathway outside the Koala Conservation Reserve, from 10am to 12 noon.
To lend a hand, please meet at the corner of Harbison Road and Coghlan Road at 10am to register. Wear sunscreen, hat and sensible shoes. Gloves will be provided.
"FOK has been cleaning up this area for over 25 years and still picks up a surprising amount of rubbish each time," a group spokesperson said.
