The San Remo Hotel is hosting the Big Freeze on Sunday, June 12 from 2pm – 5pm, to raise money to help find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.
There will be ice-slides and footy auctions when the San Remo Hotel hosts the Big Freeze to raise money for MND on Sunday June 12.
While there’ll be loads of fun, it’s for a very serious cause, and manager Daniel Mock and his team are hoping to raise a lot of money to help find a cure for the devastating Motor Neurone Disease.
All the action will take place from 2pm – 5pm on the hotel’s Bridge Lawn.
Around 3pm, footy fans will be bidding for a Melbourne jumper signed by Christian Petracca, and a Collingwood jumper signed by the whole team.
That will be followed by the main event – an ice slide that will see people plunge into an icy pool, all to raise money for this worthwhile cause.
Nominations for who will get the “Big Freeze” are still to be revealed, but we have it on good authority that manager Daniel and hotel owner Peter Williams will be making a chilly appearance!
Throughout the day there will be a barbeque, Karma Keg and a raffle, with MND beanies for sale.
So come on down to the San Remo Hotel and lend your support to this great cause.
The Big Freeze is organised by FightMND, co-founded by former AFL legend Neal Daniher.
The Big Freeze 8 returns to the MCG on Monday June 13, including a celebrity slide, during the Collingwood Melbourne clash.
