Seventy people attended a business seminar presented by Bass Coast Shire Council on February 6, at the Phillip Island Winery.
The "Worth Every Dollar" seminar was designed to help businesses achieve their goals, led by entrepreneur Alexis Guttridge.
The seminar focused on working smarter and growing a business with purpose.
Alexis shared valuable insights, emphasising that "from action comes opportunity" - encouraging attendees to step outside their comfort zones and embrace new challenges.
A council spokesperson described the session as "highly interactive", saying participants "explored ways to elevate their business and find new ways to enhance their offering".
Attendees were from a diverse mix of industries including designers, artists, start-ups, construction, accountants, photographers, tourism operators, creators, event organisers, and wellness/fitness professionals.
Participants praised the event, saying "the connecting and collaboration was amazing".
A follow up online workshop, Creative Income, will be held on March 4.
