Misha and Nick Say have put the Phillip Island Winery on the market for sale.
Phillip Island Winery is for sale, with more than $1 million in future bookings.
The winery was bought in 2018 by Misha and Nick Say, who continue to run the Westernport Hotel in San Remo, which they bought in 2005.
The business on more than 12 acres includes a cellar door, run by Misha’s mum Lynnie, as well as The Yards, run by a business partner as a retail providore.
There is a 70-seat restaurant, plus an atrium seating 140 and outdoor area for 150 people, and three-acre vineyard.
Misha said they had decided to put the business on the market to focus on family.
“As three couples with school-aged children we are refocusing our time and energy on our young families,” she said.
The winery employs a team of 25, trading five days per week, and is for sale through OBrien Judith Wright, with expressions of interest closing May 10.
Misha and Nick came to Bass Coast in 2005 after running pubs, bars and cafes in Melbourne and hotels in Ballarat and Geelong.
They ran Porter Republic café in San Remo and for two years Misha and a friend ran The Shed, a café and florist in Ventnor.
They were featured in the Phillip Island coffee table book, Over the Bridge, where Misha said they “like looking for the next challenge and filling gaps in the market”.
