Bass Coast Boat and Caravan Storage recently won Storage Facility of the Year at the Self-Storage Association Australasia Awards, competing against over 2800 storage facilities across Australia and New Zealand.
Bass Coast Boat and Caravan Storage was awarded Storage Facility of the Year at the Self-Storage Association Australasia Awards last month.
Jenni Lewandowski, Director of the company, said they were thrilled to receive the award.
"Competing against over 2800 storage facilities across Australia and New Zealand, this recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovative spirit of small businesses in the Bass Coast Shire."
The award comes on the back of similar recognition closer to home.
At the 2023 Bass Coast Business Awards, Bass Coast Boat and Caravan Storage was named Business of the Year, and was a finalist in several categories in the 2024 awards.
The family-run business, is located on the Bass Highway at Glen Forbes, and when they took out the top prize at the 2023 awards, the judges praised the quality of the submission, noting that "research, planning, and education is key to delivering a new product".
Jenni said the latest achievement was not just a proud moment for the company, but also "a celebration of the resilience and success of local enterprises in the Bass Coast community".
She said plans were underway for future growth, including "an exciting new expansion at our facility".
