Tucked away behind the car wash in San Remo, is Print It Fast, the only full-service printer in the area.

A locally owned family business, run by Denni Slorach with her husband Ash and brother Karl Winslade, it can look after all your printing needs.

The company has expanded massively since 2010, when Denni started doing small print jobs from the garage of her Surf Beach home.

Over the past decade, the company has been on the move, both in terms of expanding its services, and its locations, with previous stores based in Wonthaggi and in Cowes, where they initially operated under the name PurpleX, before rebranding as Print It Fast.

“We thought we should have a name that said what we do,” Denni said.

And while they certainly live up to the promise in the company name, their service is about much more than speed.

Moving to the current premises in San Remo almost six years ago allowed the team to bring in more equipment and larger printers.

These days, the company also has an inhouse sign writer, and services range from large outdoor signage, right through to personalised greeting cards.

Without knowing, you’ll have seen their work – either when you’ve driven past a sign, picked up a business card or looked at a menu in a local café.

While Print It Fast does work with large local organisations like Phillip Island Nature Parks, Bass Coast Shire Council and Bass Coast Health, Denni said the team has the expertise to help local businesses and sole traders get themselves noticed.

A qualified graphic designer with a marketing background, Denni said she can help with artwork, design a logo or even put together a full re-brand.

Their local focus means Print It Fast can provide customised signage and printing in small amounts.

“We can print 100 business cards, or do signs for one car,” Denni explained.

“Or we can help you completely rebrand your business.

“We can sort out what you need, and no matter how big or small the job is, we can help.”

Locally based, quick and affordable, the team at Print It Fast is uniquely placed to work with local business, not just because of their expertise in printing, but also because of their understanding of the local area.

In fact, they are in the process of putting together a small business/tradie pack, to help people promote their business.

Fiercely community minded, Denni and the team support local charities and organisations, including Wildlife Rescue, Bass Coast Community Foundation and South Gippsland Animal Aid, and regularly support or sponsor local groups and events.

They also understand the challenges of small business and consider every print job an important one, even when the quantities required are small.

As well as business, there are many local groups and families that take advantage of the services offered by Print It Fast, creating individualised gifts such as calendars, prints or a small run of T-shirts.

“We don’t print coffee cups,” laughed Denni,

“But we can print you a sticker to put on it.”
